Miss North Carolina visits students. On Thursday, October 19th Miss North Carolina, Victoria Huggins visited our school. The students gathered in the media center and Ms. Huggins read the book, QUACKERS by Liz Wong and she sang them a song. She spoke to the students about the importance of being kind to everyone and always follow your dreams. Before she left, she gave each student a copy of the book, A Very Crabby Christmas by Tish Rabe and the girls got The Little Mermaid coloring book and the boys got Sponge Bob paint book. We had a great morning with Miss North Carolina. We hope she comes back to visit again.
