Cumberland County Schools (CCS) has transitioned to NextRequest, an online portal for managing public records requests.

The public records email inbox, publicrecords@ccs.k12.nc.us, is no longer monitored. Please submit all new requests and follow-up communications through the portal:

• New requests: Please submit your request at https://cumberlandcountyschoolsnc.nextrequest.com/. This will allow you to use the portal to communicate with staff about your request.

• Requests already in progress: Requests previously received by CCS are being imported into NextRequest. You will receive an email notification with next steps. You do not need to resubmit your request.

CCS is committed to transparency and access to public records. We work to provide responsive records as soon as possible. Response times vary based on request volume, scope and the time needed to locate and review records.
